Wehrmacht (Heer) Bread Bag Model 1931 (Brotbeutel 31). Bread bags were widely utilized by all German military and non-military organizations, so various models and colors were produced. The bread bag was worn attached to the belt on the right side of the back. This is a nice example having an early green colour, the breadbag is re-inforced with brown leather parts. The breadbag is nicely maker marked by 'Gustav Schiele' from Loburg and dated 1940.
