Wehrmacht Leather Binocular Case & Carrying Strap (Behälter für Doppelfernrohr). The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service. This early type leather case is intended for storage of the standard 6 x 30 binoculars. The leather case is complete with its often missing original leather carrying strap. The case can be carried on the belt as well. The leather case is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Hensoldt' from Wetzlar, having an early Reichsheer style 'WaA' marking and dated 1936. The case and carrying strap are in overall very good condition, see photos. Nice original early pre-war binocular case!
