First Pattern HJ ('Hitler-Jugend') membership badge (Mitgliedsabzeichen), indicating membership before June 1932. The badge is showing a sun rising from a black enamel horizon, against a red enamel sky, surrounded by the script 'H.J. - Deutsche Arbeiter-Jugend'. The badge is nicely maker marked by the company of 'O. Baudermann' from Erlbach and nicely 'Ges.Gesch.' marked on the back. The badge is complete with its functional pin/catch construction. The lapel-pin shows some regular wear and age but has a totally undamaged, enamelled surface. Nice and scarce example in good used condition!
