Double Decal M35 'Polizei' Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet retains most all of its early fieldgrey/green paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage and some paint-loss. Both decals are in good condition with some minor damage and scratches caused by usage, the police decal is present for about 85%, the swastika decal for about 90%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact and showing the typical early colour. The interior of the helmet is an early M31 with reinforced aluminum liner-ring, the size '57' liner is nicely marked with a police acceptance marking "Po" (Polizei) and dated 1938. The liner is complete with original liner-cord. The shell is marked with maker and size 'ET64' which indicates production by the 'Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG' from Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '3441'. The helmet is complete with its original leather chinstrap with aluminum roller-buckle. Hard to find original early Double Decal Polizei helmet in good used condition!
