Description
Product Images
Dutch 'Kepie'. This kepi was part of the 'buitenmodel' tunic, these tunics were privately purchased tunics in field blue-grey woolen cloth. Soldiers who were not able to buy a complete tunic often bought only the kepi. This is a soldiers rank kepi, recognizable by the double blue coloured piping. The blue coloured piping indicates that this kepi belonged to a soldier within an Infantry Regiment. The leather sweatband is partly damaged and incomplete. The kepi is nicely maker marked by the company of 'C.Bajlet & Zonen' from Utrecht. There are some moth damages, see photos. Nice original kepi in good used condition!
