Restored Luftwaffe Flight Oxygen Mask (Sauerstoffmaske 10-6701). The model 10-6701 oxygen mask was designed for use with the LkpN101 and other flying helmets modified for 2-point mask attachment. This mask was crucial for high-altitude flight survival. It is designed to provide oxygen to pilots and crew members, ensuring they could breathe and function properly at extreme altitudes. Due to its light weight construction and compact size it found favour amongst many fighter and fighter-bomber pilots. The mask is nicely maker marked by 'byd' indicating production by the company 'Draeger' from Lübeck. This is an original wartime mask which has been professionally restored, the leather and straps have been replaced, mostly with original period items. See photos.
