WH (Heer) Infantry EM/NCO's Visor Cap
WH (Heer) Infantry EM/NCO's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a nice privately purchased EM/NCO's example. The celluloid manufacturers sweat-diamond ('Raute') is present and marked with the size '54½'. The brown leather sweatband is in fragile and slightly damaged condition, see photos. The cap is maker marked on the inside of the leather sweatband. The Visor cap is piped in the white 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for Infantry personnel. The cap is complete with its original early aluminum cap-eagle and cocarde. The cap is having a blackened patent leather chinstrap. The cap is in good condition showing some minor traces of usage, see photos. Nice original visor cap in good condition!
