WH (Heer) 'Panzergrenadier' EM/NCO's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a nice private purchased EM/NCO's example. Complete with celluloid manufacturers sweat-diamond ('Raute') marked by the rarely seen tailor 'Geschw. Hitzenbuhler' from Augsburg. The leather sweatband is in good condition and size '55' marked. The cap is piped in the bright green 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for Panzergrenadier personnel. The cap is complete with its original aluminum type cap eagle and cocarde. The cap is having a correct EM/NCO's type chinstrap. The cap is showing normal traces of usage and is in overall good condition having a nice shape. Rare original 'Panzergrenadier' visor cap!
