HJ Golden Honour Badge in Gold
HJ ('Hitler-Jugend') Enamelled Golden Member Honor Badge (Goldenes HJ Ehrenzeichen). The Golden HJ Honor Badge was introduced in June 1934 by the Reichsjugendführer 'Baldur von Schirach', the golden HJ Honor badge was intended to be awarded to those in the HJ and BDM who had been members prior to the first National Youth Day Rally, held at Potsdam in October 1932. The badge is having an identical design as the standard HJ membership badge, but having wider borders in gold. The badge is neatly maker marked on the back with 'RZM M1/52' indicating production by the company of 'Deschler & Sohn' from München. This is a so-called 'A-Stück' with award number '116791'. The badge is having a functional pin/catch attachement. Nice original Golden HJ Honor Badge in very good condition!
