Luftwaffe Honor Roll Clasp
Cased Luftwaffe Honor Roll Clasp (Ehrenblattspange der Luftwaffe). Following the Army and Navy, Hermann Göring established the Honor List of the German Airforce (Ehrenliste der deutschen Luftwaffe) and the accompanying Honor Roll Clasp (Ehrenblattspange der Luftwaffe), both on 5 July 1944. The award criteria for the clasp did not vary from the Heer and Kriegsmarine, namely to perform an outstanding act, but one which did not merit recommendation for the Knights Cross or German Cross. The clasp is in mint and unissued condition, showing polished highlights. The clasp is attached to a full length Iron Cross Ribbon with four soldered prongs. It comes in it's original blue-coloured presentation case. The case is in good condition with some normal usage to the corners. Scarce original set in very good condition!
