Set of 2 small round enamelled pins which were locally made souvernir which could be bought by German soldiers, most of these souvernir items originate from the Petsamo area in Finland and were brought home by Gebirgsjäger soldiers. These small pins could be attached to Petsamo Souvernir Pocket Watch Chains. There are a lot of variations around. This is one 1942 dated enamelled badge showing a hiker and the script 'Alakurtti', the other badge is showing a reindeer in the snow and the script 'Rovaniemi-Petsamo-Salla', this badge is complete with screw-back disc which is maker marked by 'H.G. Lindstrom' from Helsinki. Great and decorative original badges!
