Luftwaffe 7,65mm Pistol Holster
Luftwaffe 7,65mm Pistol Holster for the Hungarian M37 Pistol (Fémárú). The Hungarian 'Fémárú, Fegyver- és Gépgyár' company was contracted to produce several thousand M37 pistols for the Luftwaffe during WWII with the modification of a manual safety switch to the left hand side. When issued the pistols came accompanied with a holster and this example is a German manufactured holster. The leather construction holster has one large belt-loop on the back and could be worn on the load carrying waist belt. The holster has a stitched on spare magazine pocket. The interior of the top flap is nicely marked with 'Nur für Pistole 37M (Ung) Kal. 7.65' (Only for the Pistol Model 37 (Hungarian) Caliber 7.65mm). The holster is nicely maker marked and dated with 'jsd 1942' indicating production by the company of 'Gustav Reinhardt' from Berlin in 1942. Nice original holster in mint and unissued condition!
