Luftwaffe Flight NCO's Four-Pocket Tunic
Very nice quality, private purchase blue/grey wool construction 1935 pattern Luftwaffe four-pocket tunic (Waffenrock) as intended for an 'Feldwebel der Flieger'. The tunic features a vertical, four button, front closure. The right breast has a very nice quality hand-embroidered breast-eagle neatly hand-stitched to the tunic. A pair of yellow-coloured collar tabs, both having three rank gulls applied, is machine-sewn to the collar. Silver NCO braid and yellow piping are machine-sewn around the collar. The tunic is having shoulder-boards of the sew-in type having the golden-yellow 'Waffenfarbe' indicating an Feldwebel within a 'Flieger' unit, the shoulder boards are constructed from the same wool as the tunic. There are award-loops on the left breast for wear of several awards and a ribbon-bar is attached to the tunic. A nicely habd-embroidered 'Segelflieger C-Abzeichen' is sewn to the breast. The interior of the tunic is lined in various colours rayon/cotton and nicely padded. The tunic is complete with a tailor label from the tailor 'Spacek' from Brno (Brünn). The tunic is in very good condition, showing only some minor staining caused by usage. Stunning original tunic!
