Nice original Silvered Plate 'Luftverteidigungs-Zone West' 1938/39 with signature of 'Kitzinger'. Karl Kitzinger ( 18. April 1886 - † 14. April 1962) was appointed 'Kommandeur der Luftverteidigungszone West' (Westwall) at 1 June 1938, at 1 October 1938 he was promoted to 'General der Flieger'. The plate is having a diameter of approximately 29cms, it is missing its hanging hook on the back. The plate is not visible maker marked. Nice and unique original item!
