Wehrmacht Rangefinder, marked with 'Em 1m R.' (Entfernungsmesser 1m R). The rangefinder is in very good condition and complete with post-war replaced rubberized eyecup protector. The rangefinder is nicely maker marked by the company 'Carl Zeiss' from Jena, the rangefinder is marked with the unique serial-number '50802'. It comes with a matching 'Berichtigungslatte' (Calibration board) and cradle mount for the tripod. All stored in the original wooden box. All parts have been post-war repainted by the Finnish army. The wooden box is sized approximately 120 x 22 x 17 cms. Original German paint is still visible beneath the finnish paint on various parts. Unlike most of the rangefinders which have been reissued in the Finnish army this set still bears the original German language type shields. The optics are in good condition and still clear. This set comes directly out of the depots of the Finnish army. Nice and honest piece of equipment!
