Cased WW1 Prussian Observers Badge
This is a original cased Imperial World War 1 Prussian Observer Officers Badge (Abzeichen für Beobachtungs-Offiziere). The Imperial Observer Officers Badge was originally introduced o 27 january 1914 by 'Kaiser Wilhelm'. This badge is a nice wartime period issued example made of hollow tombac (Buntmetall). The badge is not visible maker marked but can very likely be attributed to the company of 'C.E. Juncker' from Berlin, this is a so-called type 5. The badge shows very nice & pronounced detail overall, the enamel is in very good undamaged condition. The badge has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. The badge comes in it's original matching case as found together. The case is in good condition with some normal usage to the corners, the box is nicely maker marked by the company of 'C.E. Juncker' from Berlin SW68. Desirable original set very good condition!
