Wehrmacht K98 M34 Cleaning Kit, complete with contents (Reinigungsgerät 34 mit Inhalt). When issued the K98 came accompanied with assorted accessory items including a sling, a cleaning rod, a protective muzzle cover and a M34 cleaning kit that was officially introduced on 4 September 1934 and was utilized with all bolt action rifles. The bluegrey painted cleaning kit is nicely marked with 'cnx' indicating production by the company of 'Gustav Appel', it is showing a 'WaA' marking as well. The kit is complete with a metal oiler, takedown-tool, chain and 2 brushes. The takedown-tool is marked with 'Gustav Appel'. Nice set in good condition!
