This is a rare original tan coloured Luftschutz Medical Box (Luftschutzverbandkasten). These medical storage boxes were standard equipment for all military and para-military units and often stored in vehicles. This is a very rare late war variant painted in the standard late war tan coloured paint intended for air raid services usage, and was probably stored in a vehicle of the 'Luftschutz'. This is only the second tan coloured Luftschutz medical box I have ever seen. The box is complete with a large part of its original contents as found together, including some nice and interesting original bandages and various other medical items and/or equipment. Take a look at the photos for more details. The box is approximately sized 35 x 19 x 11 cms. On top of the box is stencilled in white paint 'Luftschutz Verbandkasten'. It is complete with contents label. Rare original box in very good condition!

This box originates from the collection of the closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture.
