German Red Cross Grouping. The 2-piece Medal Bar (Ordenspange) showing a Hindenburg Cross (Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer 1914-18) and a German Red Cross Medal (Medaille des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes), 1937-1939. The medals are nicely mounted on a medal-bar for wear on the 'walking-out' tunic, the medal-bar is having a fieldgrey woolen backing cloth. The medal-bar comes on its functional pin/catch set-up. Also included is a nice 'Thüringer Landesvereins vom Roten Kreuz' Cross, the cross is maker marked by 'R. Conrad' from Weimar. The cross is in good condition showing a nice dark patina. These medals belonged to 'Ernst Ottleb', his oilcloth Red Cross ID-Card (Ausweis) is included and complete with portrait-photo. Nice and interesting small Red Cross grouping!
