Wehrmacht Medical Tunic Grouping
Wehrmacht (Heer) Medical NCO's Tunic Grouping consisting of an M43 Field Blouse (Feldbluse) together with a pair of trousers and overseas cap. The M43 field blouse was basically a continuation of the modifications of the M33 field blouse which had evolved into the M36, the M40 and the M42 field blouses. The separate belt support hook suspenders have now been replaced by short integral straps. This is an EM's issue tunic which has been upgraded to and NCO's rank. The high quality wool/rayon blend construction field blouse has 6 front closure buttons and four, tailored M36 style pleated, front pockets. The field blouse is having a nicely hand applied M39 style BeVo-woven breast eagle. The tailored dark-green M36-style wool collar is having original machine-sewn blue piped medical collar-tabs and silver NCO braid around the collar. The tunic comes with a pair of blue piped medical NCO's type shoulder straps intended for an officer's candidate (Offizieranwärter). The interior of the field blouse is partially lined in grey coloured rayon, there is a small bandage pocket on the lower right showing a nice RB.Nr. The field blouse is nicely size marked (chest size 91cms). A nicely BeVo woven 'Sanitäter' (medic) armband is attached to the wearer's left sleeve. The tunic is in overall very good condition. The tunic comes together with a tailor made pair of straigh legged trousers matching in colour with the jacket, the trousers are complete with tailor name tag. The trousers are showing normal traces of usage and some damages and/or repairs. The set is complete with a heavily worn M34 overseas cap with blue coloured medical soutache. Nice complete tunic grouping!
