WH (Heer) K98 Ammo Pouch (Patronentaschen). The basis design of the ammunition pouches was virtually unchanged since the introduction of this pattern in 1909. The pouch is made of blackened brown leather and having aluminum parts. The pouch is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Franz Brehme' from Walsrode and dated 1939. The pouch is missing one of the partitions. Inside one of the flaps is a unit marking. Two aluminum rivets on the reverse are damaged, see photos. Nice original pouch in good used condition!
