WH (Heer) 'Panzer' Shoulder-Straps & EKM

Description

This is a very nice matching pair of Wehrmacht (Heer) 'M36' type shoulder-straps (Schulterklappen), complete with slip-ons (Überschübe) and ID-disc (Erkennungsmarke), a complete set from one soldier. The shoulder-straps are having the pink coloured (woolen-type) piping as intended for a 'Soldat der Panzertruppen'. The boards are executed in dark-green wool and the boards come on their functional tongues, this is a fully textbook pair of shoulder-boards. The boards are measuring approximately 12 cms in length, they come together with a nice pair of 'slip-ons' ('Überschube'). The pair of slip-ons is showing nicely 'chain-stitched' embroidered regimental number '7' in copper-brown on a fieldgrey woolen background as intended for a soldier withint a 'Kradschützen' (motorcyclists) unit. The zinc-based WH (Heer) ID-disc (Erkennungsmarke) is intended for a member within the 'Pz.Aufkl.Ers.u.Ausb.Abt.7' (Panzer-Aufklärungs-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Abteilung 7). The disc also bears the unique number '530'. This set belonged together to one soldier and was found in a private household in Germany like this, this unit transformed from Panzer into a motorcyclists unit, for more information on the unit. Great and rare original set!
