DAF Belt & Buckle
DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) belt & buckle (Koppel und Koppelschloß). The DAF (German Labor-front), originally founded in 1933, became an official NSDAP organization in October 1934. DAF’s most important goal was to enforce the political stability of the large mass of work force. The aluminum buckle shows a mobile swastika within a cogwheel. The buckle is nicely marked with 'RZM M4/45' indicating production by the company of 'Cramer & Dombach' from Lüdenscheid. The buckle comes together with its original 90cms long blackened leather belt as found together, the belt is nicely marked with 'RZM L2/256/38'. The belt is having two political D-rings attached, both nicely RZM marked as well. This is an original set which was found together, very hard to find in this condition!
