WW2 Iron Cross 2nd Class with Pouch '60'
Iron Cross second class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse), complete with its original ribbon and pouch of issue. On 1 September 1939 Hitler reinstituted the Iron Cross (First time in 1813). The second class medal was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction, the stunning stonemint condition cross is still having the neat so-called 'Hochpolierte Kanten'. The cross is nicely maker marked with number '60', indicating production by the company of 'Katz & Deyhle' in Pforzheim. The cross comes in its matching pouch of issue, also marked by the company 'Katz & Deyhle'. The pouch is in good condition. Nice and hard to find matching set in stunning stonemint condition, not cheap, but fully worth it's money, the best set I've had in years!
