WH (Heer) BeVo woven sleeve-shield as intended for a volunteer within the 'Armenien' Legion (Ärmelschild für Freiwillige Armenien). In 1942 an identifying sleeve shield for members of the Armenien legion was introduced. The Armenian sleeve shield utilized the colors of the Independent Armenian Republic which was only in existence from 1918 to 1920. The shield is executed in the neat so-called BeVo weave style on a field-grey linnen background. Nice original BeVo Eastern volunteer insignia in mint and unissued condition!
