This is a nice original Wehrmacht (Heer) Volunteer Collar Tab as intended for a 'Schütze' within the 'Georgien' Legion. The 822th Georgian infantry battalion was stationed at Zandvoort (Holland) in September 1943. On 10 January 1945 the Georgian battalion had to replace the Caucasians on Texel. On 6 April 1945 the Georgians are rebelling and kill the 400 Germans in their battalion. The collar tab is nicely executed in the so-called 'BeVo' weave technique. Sadly it is only a single one, but still a nice 'Ostvölker' item in mint and unissued condition!
