MG34 or MG42 vehicle mount ammo-box (Patronenkasten 36). The Box was capable of carrying a 150 round ammunition belt and was designed for use on armoured vehicles. The box still has its original paint and shows some surface rust and scratches caused by usage. The box is nicely maker marked and dated 'brc 41' indicating production in 1941. This is the first pattern box having a regular closure system. Nice example in good used condition!
