Wehrmacht 'Großdeutschland' Cufftitle (Ärmelband). This is a third pattern 'Großdeutschland' Cufftitle as introduced on 7 October 1940. The cufftitle shows two silver-grey coloured borders and the neatly hand-embroidered script 'Großdeutschland' in silver bullion threads, embroidered in the 'Sütterlin' script. The cufftitle has the typical opened back construction with the top and bottom edges folded over the reverse. The cufftitle measures approximately 44cms in length, example in very good, although clearly used and worn condition. The cufftitle is in showing minimal traces of usage and would serve perfect to restore a GD tunic with. Desirable original cufftitle of an interesting unit!
