Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery War Badge (Kriegsabzeichen für die Marineartillerie). The Coastal Artillery War Badge was introduced on 24 June 1941 by Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine und Großadmiral 'Erich Raeder' for award to land based Naval coastal artillery and anti-aircraft personnel in recognition of their achievements. The badge is an early 'Buntmetall' (tombak) example, the badge still retains most of its original finish showing great detail. The badge is complete with its functional pin and catch. The badge is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Schwerin' from Berlin. Hard to find original badge in very good condition!
