DAF Festive Tunic Trousers & Waistcoat
'Deutsche Arbeitsfront' Festive Tunic Trousers and Waistcoat (Festanzug). The DAF (German Labor-front), originally founded in 1933, became an official NSDAP organization in October 1934. DAF’s most important goal was to enforce the political stability of the large mass of work force. The festive tunic was worn on special occasions/celebrations. Dark blue wool construction tunic trousers and waistcoat, both complete with all DAF type buttons. The buttons are showing the cogwheel with swastika, the buttons are RZM marked on the back. The trousers and waistcoat are having a typical 'DAF' lining. The trousers and waistcoat are showing normal traces of usage and some minor moth damage. An original DAF Membership Badge is attached to the waistcoat. Nice and hard to find original DAF Festive Tunic parts!
