Protective leather jackets, pants and coveralls were listed as special clothing and were issued to engine personnel, certain deck and bridge personnel and U-Boat personnel when engaged in specific functions. The pants are made of high quality, supple, blackened leather. The pants are nicely 'Reichs-Betriebs-Nummer 0/1297/0003' marked and size '54' marked which is a big size.
