Luftwaffe Flight/FJ EM's Four-Pocket Tunic - MINT
Very nice quality issue blue/grey wool construction 1935 pattern Luftwaffe four-pocket tunic (Waffenrock) as intended for a 'Soldat der Flieger/Fallschirmjäger'. The tunic features a vertical, four button, front closure, with open collar. The right breast is having a nice quality machine-embroidered early type droop-tail breast-eagle neatly hand-stitched to the tunic. A pair of yellow-coloured collar tabs, having one rank gull applied, is nicely machine sewn to the collar. The tunic is having a pair of EM's shoulder-straps of the sew-in type. Yellow piping is sewn around the collar. All insignia look to be original applied. The insignia and piping around the collar are all having the yellow branch colour (Truppenfarbe) indicating an 'Soldat der Flieger/Fallschirmjäger' (Flight/Paratrooper). The interior of the tunic is lined in bluegrey cotton. The tunic is showing some fainted size markings (chest size 98cms). The tunic is in very good, mint and unissued, condition, showing only minor traces of years of storage, see photos. Stunning original early Luftwaffe tunic in good unissued condition!
