Wehrmacht Fur Winter Overcoat (Pelzmantel). The sheep skin overcoat was designed for wear in extremely cold climates. Three quarter length, white coloured, machine stitched, multi-panel, patchwork sheep skin construction overcoat. The overcoat features an overlapping front closure with three leather reinforced, wooden dowel "buttons", closed with leather straps. The overcoat is not visible marked or dated. The overcoat shows normal usage and wear and some small damages, see photos. The overcoat is cut large enough to fit over the standard uniform. Great original item for an Eastern Front display!

This coat originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture!
