US Cavalry Boots 1941
World War 2 US Tall Brown Leather Cavalry Boots. This kind of boots was worn all the war long by high ranking officers. This is a period altered pair of boots, the legging top normally closed by 3 leather straps with buckles has been changed into a type laced up to the top by grommets and hooks, probably tailored for an officer. The chocolate brown leather is in good supple condition. The boots are ink-stamped inside the shaft and dated April, 15 1941. The shoes are having the typical rubber heels. These boots have recently been found in a house-cleaning in the Netherlands. The boots are showing some staining and are in uncleaned condition as found. Great looking pair of original US Cavalry/Officer's Boots in good used and clearly worn condition!
