This is a nice example of a Wehrmacht (Heer) M36 Type Panzer Breast Eagle (Hoheitsabzeichen). The eagle is executed in the neat so-called BeVo weave style in white thread on a black linnen background. This eagle was intended for usage on the black coloured Panzer wrap uniforms. The eagle is in good unissued condition. The eagle is slightly stained and a bit wrinkled, caused by years of storage. There is some glue residue on the back from being pasted in a scrapbook once. Nice original pre-war M36 style Panzer breast-eagle!
