This is a nice original 'Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Frontkämpferbund Stahlhelm' (NSDFBSt) Table Bust showing a German Soldier (Soldatenbüste). 'Der Stahlhelmbund' was conceived as a national veterans' organization by 'Franz Seldte' in November 1918. The hollow zinc table bust is having a nice brass finish, it's mounted on a marble base and measures approximately 31cms in height. The bust is in good condition showing pronounced detail, there is one small damage/repair, see photos. A small engraved silver plate is placed on the marble base. The total weight is over 4kg. Engraved on the plate is: "Unserem lieben Ortsgruppenführer 'Hermann Buchheister' in Dankbarkeit gewidmet. Ortsgruppe 2 Minden. N.S. Deutscher Frontkämpferbund (Stahlhelm)". Nice and decorative original period item!
