Cased Hindenburg Cross (Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer). The Hindenburg Cross was instituted in three forms on 13 july 1934 as a service medal for soldiers who participated in world war one. It was also the first decoration created by the Third Reich. The Hindenburg Cross comes with its original ribbon and comes in its original brown coloured etui, the etui is showing some traces of usage, see photos. On the inside of the case is printed 'Treue um Treue, von Hindenburg'. Nice set in good used condition!
