This is a stunning original Imperial Prussian Pilot’s Commemorative Badge (Flieger-Erinnerungsabzeichen). The Pilot’s Commemorative Badge was originally introduced on 27 January 1914 by 'Kaiser Wilhelm'. This badge is a nice wartime period issued example made of hollow tombac (Buntmetall). The badge is not visible maker marked but can very likely be attributed to the company of 'C.E. Juncker' from Berlin. The badge shows very nice & pronounced detail overall and still retains a nice silver finish. The badge has naturally a functional pin & catch construction.Desirable original imperial Prussian Pilot’s Commemorative Badge in very good condition!
