World War 1 German Wire Cutters in Pouch (Drahtschere in Tasche). Wire cutters were enabling personnel to cut through barbwire entanglements. This is a WW1 model German Wire Cutters, complete with it's original canvas pouch as found together. The wire cutters are nicely marked with 'D.R.G.M.' (Deutches Reich Gebrauchs Muster).
