Late war Wehrmacht Medical Backpack (Sanitätstornister). A large white leather roundel with a red cross is stiched on the top flap. The backpack is complete with both leather carrying straps, the protective mess kit pouch is still present. One of the small buckles for the closure straps of the flap is unfortunately missing, see photos. The backpack is nicely maker marked and dated with 'dny 1944' indicating production by the company of 'Karl Bollmann & Co' from Tuttlingen in 1944. These medical backpacks are very rare and hard to find. Due to the missing buckle priced accordingly. Rare original late war medical backpack!
