WH (Heer) Zeltbahn 31
Wehrmacht M31 Shelter Quarter (Zeltbahn 31). The shelter quarter served buttoned together to form a four-man tent (or larger), it could also be worn as a poncho to give protection against rain, and it served as camouflage during a battle. It is made of tightly woven cotton drill with the "splitter pattern" camouflage, which showed light colors on one side and dark colors on the other. This example is still showing bright colours and is made of different shades of camouflage material showing a rare not so often seen bluish coloured camouflage. It looks to be complete with most of its original steel type dish-buttons and one all two original ropes. The Zeltbahn is not visible maker marked. It is showing some normal staining and traces of usage, see photos. Nice original variant Zeltbahn in good used condition!
