German Model 1941 Horse gasmask carrying bag (Pferdegasmaske 41 Tasche). Throughout world war 2, horse drawn transport remained an important part of the German military supply organization. The protective chemical warfare equipment for horses consists of a specially designed gasmask, a body covering, goggles and leggings/gaiters. The bag is in very good condition and was most likely never issued. The white label is maker marked 'bwz' indicating production by the company 'Auer-Gesellschaft AG' - Werk Oranienburg, the label is WaA marked as well. This type of bag is a less often found type made of different material then most mint condition bags on the market. Nice original bag in very good condition!
