This is a nice original Wehrmacht (Heer)/Luftwaffe MP38/40 Magazine Pouch (MP38 u. MP40 Magazintasche). Soldiers equipped with the MP38/40 were issued a pair of magazine pouches which each held three thirty-two round magazines.This is a left side pouch with an additional compartment where a speed loader was kept. This pouch is made of bleu-grey coloured canvas with blackened leather straps, the leather straps are in good and still supple condition. The pouch is not visible maker marked and dated 1942. Hard to find original MP38/40 magazine pouch in good used condition!
