Standard larger type Wehrmacht Panzer Binoculars 'Dialyt 10×50' (Doppelfernrohr), also known as 'Panzer Dienstglas'. Complete with original simulated leather carrying case (Behälter für Doppelfernrohr). The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service, these larger 10×50 type binoculars were issued to specialized personnel such as panzer observers. The binoculars are in complete condition with undamaged 'Bakelite' eyecups. The Binoculars are nicely maker marked by the company of 'Hensoldt' from Wetzlar. The binoculars also bears the inscription: 'Dialyt 10×50', the unique number '34227'. The binoculars are in good used condition, the optics are clear. The binoculars are complete with leather carrying strap. The binoculars are stored inside their original late war simulated leather carrying case, the case is nicely not visible maker marked, the closure clip shows a 1944 date. The case is having an in my opinion civilian or postwar type carrying strap attached but I left it attached as found. Nice original panzer binoculars in case. A nice and honest piece of equipment!
