Cased Standard Wehrmacht binoculars 'Dienstglas' 6 x 30 (Behälter mit Doppelfernrohr). The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service. The binoculars are in good condition with undamaged 'Bakelite' eyecups. The Binoculars are nicely maker marked by the company of 'Carl Zeiss' from Jena. The binoculars also bears the inscription: 'Dienstglas 6x30' and the unique number '1617076', the 'm' might indicate marine. Two screws of the type plate are missing. The binoculars are in good used condition, the optics are clear and complete with reticle (Strichplatte). The binoculars are complete with leather carrying strap. The binoculars are stored in their original early pre-war leather carrying case. The case can be carried on the belt with the large leather belt-loop on the back. The case is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Carl Zeiss' from Jena. Nice matching set in good used condition. A nice and honest piece of equipment which will be perfect for use on a mannequin!
