German equipment belt loop D-ring (Aufschiebeschlaufe). This piece of equipment could be worn in lieu of ammunition pouches to attach the belt supporting straps. It could also be worn upside down to attach a canteen etc. The black leather belt loop is not visible marked, it shows a 'WaA' marking but I'm not sure if this has been added postwar. Nice example for a fair price!
