Description
This is a nice and rare original late war M31 Canteen and Cup (Feldflasche 31 und Trinkbecher) having a 1 Liter capacity instead of the regular 0,75L. The standard issue M31 canteen was introduced on 23 March 1931. The leather straps and felt cover are all in overall good used condition with normal age and usage toning. The red painted steel canteen is nicely maker marked and dated 'MN44' indicating production in 1944. The canteen is complete with its original green painted metal cup, matching marked with 'MN43'. Rare original late war large sized canteen in good condition!
