K98 Bayonet Frog (Seitengewehrtragetasche). The dark brown leather frog is complete with horizontal retaining strap. The frog is nicely RB.Nr. '0/0655/0013' marked indicating production by the company of 'Rahm & Kampmann' from Kaiserslautern. Nice original example in very good condition!

Description
This is a nice original K98 Bayonet Frog (Seitengewehrtragetasche). The K98 bayonet was a standard issue item and was accompanied by a bayonet frog to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The K98 bayonet remained the standard issue bayonet through-out the war with minor manufacturing variations. The bayonet frog is made of high quality dark brown leather. The frog is complete with with a horizontal retaining strap, after regulations of January 1939 this type was issued to all mounted and unmounted personnel. The frog is nicely RB.Nr. '0/0655/0013' marked indicating production by the company of 'Rahm & Kampmann' from Kaiserslautern. Nice original example in very good condition!
