Late War WH (Heer) Combat Rucksack

Description

Late War Wehrmacht (Heer) Combat Rucksack (Rucksack). During the war the early M34 and M39 Affe backpacks were found to be too expensive and time consuming to produce which resulted in the production of a wide variety of less expensive canvas construction combat rucksacks and backpacks. This is a late-war rucksack, executed in rough green coloured canvas material. The rucksack has a rounded fold over top flap. Recycled materials have been used for the construction of this rucksack. The rucksack is not visible marked but most likely dates from 1945. The rucksack is complete with canvas carrying straps made of recycled M36 type internal belt-support straps, one of the metal hooks is missing. The rucksack is in good conditition showing normal traces of usage, see photos. Nice original late-war last ditch rucksack good condition!
