Late War WH (Heer) Combat Rucksack

Description

Late War Wehrmacht (Heer) Combat Rucksack (Rucksack). During the war the early M34 and M39 Affe backpacks were found to be too expensive and time consuming to produce which resulted in the production of a wide variety of less expensive canvas construction combat rucksacks and backpacks. This is a late-war rucksack, executed in rough tan coloured canvas material, the same material as used for MP44 pouches. The rucksack has a rounded fold over top flap. Recycled materials have been used for the construction of this rucksack including items normally used for Luftwaffe for parachute and paratrooper (Fallschirmjäger) equipment. The rucksack is not visible marked but most likely dates from 1945. The rucksack is complete with matching carrying straps. The rucksack is in mint and unissued conditition showing minimal traces of storage, see photos. Interesting original late-war last ditch rucksack!
